Last night was Guy Fawkes Night, more commonly known as Bonfire Night or Fireworks Night.
Every year Olly's Dad holds a Bonfire Night Gathering in his back garden. We gather up our family and friends to eat warm food, watch fireworks and have a drink or two. My favourite part is the sparklers! I hid a couple in my hair and hoped that no one would set them off, which in retrospect was quite dangerous. Every year it seems to grow with more people, especially as Olly's siblings have grown up. I can't wait to bring my own children one day to be part of this yearly tradition!
